Kamran Eshghi
Assistant Professor of Marketing
Biography
I joined Laurentian University Faculty of Management, School of Sports Administration (currently known as School of Sport Management) in July 2018. My research focuses on Marketing Strategy, Marketing-Finance interface, and Marketing Channels. I am interested in how different firm's marketing actions and investments impact the firm performance and shareholder value.
I employ several methodologies to address the empirical research questions. These methods include meta-analysis (Two-Stage SEM and Meta-Regression), as well as different econometric techniques such as Panel Data Econometrics, Survival Analysis, and Event Study. I am very interested in conducting meta-analysis studies because they offer a good picture of the domain of interest, resolve inconsistencies and provide avenues for further research. I published two papers using meta-analysis.
